The weather was fine and clear for the clash between the Tigers and South Coogee White, but the wind was bitingly cold and whipping across the ground. Roleystone was on a high from last weeks win and Blake Arnell celebrated his 50th game. Well done to Blake!

Conditions – Cold, dew, sunshine – Perfect weather for football!
Today was the welcome return to form for Chima who came to play in round 14 of Season 2008. It would become evident as the game went on.
After several minutes of scrappy play, a good team effort resulted in our first goal from Chris McComber. The first quarter set the tone where Roleystone allowed Armadale to dictate the terms, for what was to be a very scrappy and untidy encounter all day.

Terrible Weather and a Change of Venue
1st QTR - Roleystone had a great start to quarter, cleared to forward 50 through smart handpassing by Storme, Nick and Sam. From there it was difficult for Roleystone to get the ball back into the forward half of the field. Forrestdale were able to score the first goal and then again in quick succession. Roleystone were struggling with their ball handling skills and Forrestdale managed to keep Roleystone scoreless. Sam, Luke, Nick and Ryan were standouts for the quarter.

Sam and Jake celebrated their 50th games and Braydn celebrated his 100th game
Right from the first bounce Roleystone's intensity was fierce, sticking on their players. Roley got it down to their end only to have a point scored, someone must have moved the post. There was some great play by our boys and some specky marks not being paid. Great passage of play out of defence down the wing only, unfortunately being returned like a boomerang. Roleystone are holding their opponents and making an impact.
