Roleystone 9s vs Leda 14/7/2008

What a fabulous game. A real team effort. The boys get better and better each week. Congratulations on your efforts.

From the very beginning of the game it was clear that both teams were evenly matched both with very good skills. Tom Myall-Brown kicked a nice goal in the first quarter, with Roley playing good team football.

The weather today was perfect for football and the team were very excited to be playing against our close rival Kelmscott. after last weeks performance the parents were not to be disappointed again as the 9,s continued their excellent team work on the field, again sharing the ball all over the ground. the skill level was very impressive with everyone contributing.

there was plenty of goals and great marks and the parents were treated to some great footy we hope the team work displayed so far this season will continue as I'm sure it will.

Caleb Oorschot received the excellence award today for his teamwork and great improvement in his skills well done.

9's Rnd 2 26/4/2008 Roleystone vs Fremantle Hawks (white)

With an early start for our second game of the season the boys were as keen as ever. Ben Saffioti took some good marks and kicked a goal. The whole forward line was combining as a team, leading into space and displaying some great teamwork.

9's Rnd 1 12/04/2008 Roleystone v Centrals

Well the first game for 2008 is upon us and everyone was keen to get started. From the siren Roleystone quickly went forward with Quinn Sullivan taking a mark in the goal square and kicking a goal. The boys looked as if they had picked up where they left off last year. Jacob Gibbs playing forward was providing lots of scoring opportunities and Tom Myall-Brown was driving the ball forward out of the centre.
